The Taj

If you are in India it is almost mandatory that you visit the Taj Mahal.

For me, the experience did not disappoint as some well known tourist attractions tend to do.

The intricate detail is what was most stunning to me. It was constructed at a time when all the work would have been done by hand. The upkeep is still performed by artisans who live in the town of Agra. Many trace their family tree back to the original Taj craftsmen.
