Yes, it is.

As I arrived in Buenos Aires for the first time I saw the image of a woman speaking into a microphone on one of the tallest buildings in town. The 1930’s style of the microphone led me to think it might be an image of the former First Lady Evita Peron. Some research confirmed it was.

The late wife of former President Juan Peron was as famous as her husband and her memory is still a force in Argentine politics today. She was and still is a political celebrity.

At her gravesite a few miles away, people from around the world line up daily just to say they were there and that they got close.
