The Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain is another world wonder that is stunning in its detail.

It’s not finished yet. Work on the cathedral is scheduled to be complete in 2026, 100 years after it began under the direction of its designer Antoni Gaudi.

Gaudi lived in Barcelona and his unique style is evident in architecture throughout the city.

La Sagrada Familia tells the story of the life of Christ through intricate sculptures on the outside of the building and more abstract architectural detail on the inside.
