Horse Play

Near the main square in Darjeeling there is a stable of small horses. Children and adults rent short rides through the square all day long. The adults trot right through at a fast clip. Children are lead by adults.

I saw one girl, about 5 years old, crying and laughing at the same time as she took her turn. She was petrified and over-joyed at the simultaneously.
