Needs Work

This storage building, near the railroad tracks that run behind the town of Marfa, Texas, needs work.

Its colors have faded and its paint has peeled. You can imagine what it looked like new. A blue-green finish with light blue trim. A practical loading dock just off the street. A utility light over the stairs with a hand railing made from steel plumbing pipe.

As a working building its utility has been diminished by neglect, but it has new value as a memory.
