The Year Ahead

Northeast Connecticut, late fall.

As 2021 gets underway, I am optimistic about the future.

I hope that by the end of the year a worldwide vaccination program will bring an end to the reign of isolation the Coronavirus has brought on us. I am hopeful a new administration in Washington, D.C. will restore order at home and America’s standing in the world.

On a personal note, I am hopeful I can turn ThisDecisiveMoment.com(TDM) into a destination on the internet for essays, stories and videos. As the year gets underway, that is what I am committed to do.

Even today, I am traveling the country for a series I am beginning this week called, “America In Transition.” It should take you; the reader, the social media follower, into the spring - and I hope by that time - I may be able to travel again to continue my An American Abroad series.

I intend to cast a wide net for stories. It won’t all be political. TDM will be about life. It won’t all be writing and photos. I hope to expand my video work. There are other plans I have in the works, but I will tell you more when they are finalized.

Here’s the bottom line: Look for new content and new perspectives everyday. I hope you’ll find my effort entertaining, informative and thoughtful.
