Surf Capital
Lima is the capital of Peru and it is also one of the world capitals of surfing.
On almost any day of the week hundreds of surfers crowd the beach of well worn rock and paddle on boards out into the waves. While the rocks on the beach are smooth and cool to the touch they are difficult to walk on and uncomfortable when compared to the typical sandy beach. It is added incentive to get into the water as quickly as possible and to stay for as long as the Pacific waves and tides allow.
