The Center of Protest

Santiago is not only the capital of Chile, it is currently the worldwide capital of the fight against economic disparity.

Since last fall the streets of the city have come alive every day with political protests demanding constitutional and economic reform. In April, the first in a series of nationwide votes will be held to begin the process of assembling a new constitution and “re-founding” the country as the graffiti on this street corner demands.
