The Andes

The Andes Mountains have always captivated my imagination. These mountains which stretch over much of the west coast of South America are the main reason I always wanted to visit Peru.

The rolling green hills, the snow caps, the clouds hanging over the valleys. The people who live here and their colorful traditional clothing.

I am so glad I finally got to see this section of the Andes and I hope to return to the region soon to see more and spend more time among the peaks themselves.
