It’s unfair but this picture could serve as a metaphor as far as many Indians are concerned.

Air pollution in India is very bad, especially in the capital of Delhi. But the government seems unable to do anything about it even though everyone agrees on the causes and the fact that there are solutions.

Near the parliament buildings in Delhi is a grouping of public parks. In the early afternoon government employees can be found taking naps on the grass in the sun. The pollution the government should be working to eliminate hangs over head like a blanket.
