Elizabeth Park - I

Elizabeth Park in Hartford, Connecticut is home to one of the oldest public rose gardens in the United States.

The roses cover two acres of the 100 acre park. At this time of year the roses are just beginning to come into bloom and I will have a more detailed look at those gardens next month. But here in June, I offer a quick look around with some suggestions of what’s to come.
