Connections In a Divided America

The basic question that has divided Americans since the founding of the country is the question of who is American? Who is entitled to take part?

But when you travel from coast to coast you begin to realize how much we all have in common and how much we have built together.

Here are some reflections after my latest trip - away from familiar surroundings.
