Light Blanket
Winter in New England is a game of chance.
It can be warm and dry by winter standards, cold and snowy from November to March, or something in between. For me there is always a turn around point. If we get to late January, or even February, with no snow -then I would prefer to get to the end of March as quickly as possible.
In December we got our first taste. A dusting of powder on the trees and across the lawns. Gone in less than a week. Winter signaled its arrival, but has not yet hinted as to how harsh she will be.
