Immigration - 2023

The immigration problem at the U.S. - Mexican border has gotten much worse than when I last visited the region two years ago, but there may be reason to hope.

With a divided Congress both political parties now have leadership responsibility. It’s possible the growing crisis could force a compromise that has eluded the U.S. government for decades.
