First Snow
Not every New England winter is snowy. It is quite possible to go through an entire winter in this part of the country with no significant snowfall.
As a rule, if we get to mid-January with no snow, then I am fine with the idea of skipping it altogether.
But when we do get that first full blanket of white, it’s always pretty even if nature makes us wait.
The photos in this essay were taken the morning after the first snowfall of January.
