Iceland

From the northeast coast of the United States, Iceland is only about five hours away, but on arrival you land in another world.

The geologic upheaval is endless as are the sights they create.

During my visit, Icelanders were very proud of how they had avoided the worst of Covid. A few months after I returned home however, Iceland, like much of the world, was consumed by the pandemic.

Here is what I saw during my visit in June of 2021.
