The Current Layer

Buenos Aires feels like a very modern, yet well preserved city. The most prominent layer of architecture dominating the skyline and the cityscape is from the middle part of the last century. I would say 1950’s - 1980’s.

Lots of Art Deco, lots of buildings that are simply functional and easy to construct, and a few in more modern styles.
