While in Mumbai I stayed near the Bombay Stock Exchange which also happens to be near the Indian High Court.

Nearly every block around these two institutions is filled with shops offering copying services and in some cases typing services. I asked quite a few people why there was such a market for copying when anyone with a computer and printer can make as many copies as they like by hitting “print.” No one had a good explanation except for the proximity to the stock exchange and the court.

The need for all those copies however may say something about the red tape Indian regulators are notorious for.
