Wired

One vision that says southeast Asia to me is the jumble of wires overhead. Sometimes they wrap around the fronts of buildings as if they are rubber bands holding the buildings in place.

I am not sure why this system has never been modernized. It’s as if every address has its own unique wire or wires. I will say the countries I have visited so far seem to have learned their lesson. They have invested heavily in cellular phone service and WiFi. It’s as if they skipped the 1990’s and went right to future.
