Framed
Photographically speaking this is a frame within a frame.
But if we want to get symbolic about it, a tool of the working class - the forklift - sits across the street from a Starbucks. A gleaming white symbol of people who do not work with their hands, but mainly on keyboards and think nothing of spending $5 or more a day on coffee.
So the forklift framing the Starbucks is a metaphor for the economic divide at the heart of the political divide in the United States.
